I am Olajumoke Oduwole, a full stack developer and the CEO of KJK Africa, where I lead a team of tech talents to build technology products and deliver services that help businesses improve output, deepen customer relationships, and grow revenue.
My passion for information and technology can be traced to my pre-professional days. Despite being an art student, I was fascinated by IT and the results that were achievable with it. The curiosity to leverage technology swayed me into the IT space. Thankfully, my dedication to learning technology was quickly recognized and rewarded through a scholarship by KarROX Technologies, India, to become a software professional. Throughout the scholarship program, I developed competency in six programming languages that included OOPs, Java, and MySQL. In the end, I chose to build my expertise around UX/UI and Front-end Development - HTML5, CSS, PHP-Objects, JQuery, and Javascript.
After that, I went on to acquire several academic qualifications in IT and business, which include a B.Sc. (2011) and M.Sc. (2015) in Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Lagos; a degree in brand management from Metropolitan School of Business Management, UK; and an entrepreneurship certification from the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) in 2017.
Before founding KJK, I worked with several companies in different capacities. Notably, (state the companies you worked with).
As an employee, I observed that businesses often lost resources (time, effort and money) because they used old and complicated techniques and technology. For many months, I dedicated myself to helping businesses examine their operation to identify legacy systems and processes that can be improved by technology to increase output. With each success, I got referrals and my stock rose. Soon there was a need to serve businesses as a team and so KJK was born.
Outside work, I am committed to education and youth mentorship. I am a movie enthusiast and language lover. My perfect meeting involves a coffee and an intelligent conversation about anything. If you challenge me to a language trivia, I will win. Right now, I am trying my hands at wine-tasting (you can replace it with something fun) and would probably invite you to dine with me over a business call.
